DARWIN’S DESTINATION

Darwin’s Destination is a nature-based magazine that explores exotic and unique environments as well as the cultural background of the regions that are focused on during each month’s publication. Thanks to these, Darwin’s Destination is both an informative and educational magazine that explores the wildlife and cultures that exist in these beautiful countries. The decision to focus on an educational perspective made me realize to keep the elements of both photography and typography simple and effective.

The photography was picked from actual documentations of wildlife and landscapes from this month’s location, the Galapagos, to showcase all the natural beauty that these reclusive archipelagos have. Color was also kept simple and used to help differentiate the categories of the magazine, using the palettes of animals and photos depicted in those pieces to keep a consistent yet organic palette.
